MLA Style Guide, 7th Edition: Date of Access (when needed)

This is a guide for MLA Style. It is based on the Modern Language Association of America's MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, Seventh Edition.

Date of Access

When creating a Works Cited citation for a website, the date you accessed the material should be included. Date of access is listed day, month, and year and is included at the end of the citation.

Example:

Antin, David. Interview by Charles Bernstein. Dalkey Archive Press. Dalkey Archive P, n.d. Web. 21 Aug. 2007.
