Collaborative Critical Thinking

At Tallahassee Community College (TCC), the missions of the Library and Learning Commons (LC) are rooted in our desire to help all students reach their highest potential. We provide specialized services and programming that seek to enhance student learning across disciplines by helping them acquire the skills and prerequisite knowledge to be successful throughout their academic careers. Yet, many students are unaware of the resources and services available through the Library and LC. One way we attempt to mitigate this is by engaging in collaborative partnerships with instructors to tailor instruction and customize services for a course or assignment. Through collaborations with faculty, we are able to become a part of the collective learning experience within a course and promote the various services and resources we have available.
