Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India. It involves various techniques designed to promote harmony and well-being. Aspects of classes may include:

Postures: Physical exercises and poses designed to increase flexibility, strength, and balance.

Breathing Techniques: Controlled breathing exercises that aim to improve the flow of vital energy (prana) in the body.

Meditation: Practices focused on calming the mind and achieving a state of deep relaxation and awareness.

Ethical Guidelines: Principles for living a virtuous life, including non-violence, truthfulness, and self-discipline.

Concentration: Techniques to focus the mind and improve mental clarity.

Relaxation: Practices that help the body and mind rest and rejuvenate.

Yoga is often practiced to improve physical health, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Different styles of yoga emphasize various aspects, ranging from the physical to the spiritual.
