yoga alliance 200 RYT logoKendra Auberry is a Librarian / Assistant Professor at Indian River State College. She has loved and practiced yoga for many years. 

In 2023, Kendra became a 200-hour certified yoga teacher (CYT200) & Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator (SEL*F) through Breathe for Change. This comprehensive training for educators and community leaders gave Kendra the skills she needed to facilitate yoga, wellness workshops, and meditation classes at Indian River State College. Kendra continues to incorporate the Lead with Love Values from Breathe for Change in all of her yoga classes. 

She is certified by Yoga Alliance. She retains her CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Kendra is also a facilitator for Mental Health First Aid. 

Kendra's teaching philosophy centers on accessibility. Kendra loves welcoming beginners and delights in demonstrating alternative ways to practice yoga, depending on what your body is feeling on any given day. Kendra teaches yoga basics, chair yoga, kids yoga, restorative yoga, and vinyasa.
