In-Text Example:
Cite the author's last name and page number in the in-text citation. When you have multiple works by the same author, include a shortened title after the author's last name. If you have no page number, line number, paragraph number, or division title, just use the author's last name.
... "no kind of government"(Columbus "Letter Announcing" 2).
... "by the divine will" (Columbus "Letter to Ferdinand" 3).
When you have more than one work by the same author, list the author's name the first time it appears in the Works Cited list and in subsequent citations, use three hyphens --- in place of repeating the author's name.
