Pictures abound on the Internet, try searching your favorite social media site for a science topic and visual keywords such as:

  • Infographic
  • Visuals/Visualization
  • Map/Mapping
  • Model/Modeling
  • 3D

Copyright free images can be found on the Internet in a variety of ways. One easy way to search for images you can reuse without asking permission is to search for a government entity that publishes photographs on the Internet. United States government publications can be reused when proper credit is given to the source. Search Google for government sites by adding the words

site:.gov
(site colon dot gov)
