Pew Research Center
Non-partisan center that performs social science research and public opinion polls. There are numbers on almost any topic imaginable.
American Statistical Association
Covers many topics about statistics, including their misuse.
Office of Research Integrity
This office monitors biomedical and behavioral research for any misconduct. Reports of falsification or fabrication of data are investigated here. Although very technical, this is how you find out which researchers lied.
