At the end of this instructional research session, each student will be able to:
- Differentiate primary and secondary sources.
- Define research jargon necessary to effectively conduct research in the academic environment.
- Login to IRSC RiverSearch, Academic Search Complete, and JSTOR.
- Utilize database filters to narrow search results to those most relevant.
- Copy and paste citations from articles found in IRSC databases.
- Adjust Google Scholar results to show IRSC database availability.
- Utilize IRSC LibGuides for guidance in successfully reproducing MLA citation style standards.
