The MedlinePlus to Table initiative aims to empower participants to make informed choices about health and nutrition through hands-on workshops, informative presentations, and virtual learning experiences. This project is designed to meet the growing demand for health-related programming among students and community members. It addresses the need for enhanced health and food literacy training with innovative learning experiences that bring people together. Activities planned for the 2024-2025 academic year include workshops, food demonstrations, technology training, lectures, and virtual training sessions. All activities are free and available for registration on the IRSC Libraries events calendar.
If you have questions or would like to get involved, please reach out to the project coordinator, Kendra Auberry, at kauberry@irsc.edu or 772-336-6268.
