Last year's student development EP was due at the end of October, so check back for more information.

Exemplary Practice winners (2) are selected from the presenters at the Annual Virtual Conference, which is usually held in March.

The Faculty of the Year Award Application is usually due in March.

Apply for the Leadership Excellence Award, the deadline has been extended!

Eligibility
1. A full-time employee with at least five years of continuous service at a Florida College System Public College.
2. A member of AFC in good standing.
3. A model employee who has exceeded the expectations of his or her job duties.
4. At least three years of Academic Affairs, Business Affairs, Student Affairs, Facilities, Classified/Non-Classified or other College Administration experience. All departments are welcome.

The CPEC Innovators Exemplary Practice Award recognizes exemplary practices of career and professional employees whose innovations have saved the college money and time, have helped the career and professional employees at their college to better perform their jobs, and/or enhanced the college’s image. This award focuses on “innovative” practices…something new, not tried before, or a revision and improvement of an old practice. The practice should be a better, more efficient way of completing a task that would have implications for all other career and professional employees throughout the great 28.

$400.00 -- Deadline is October 5.

The Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) has served the common interests of the entire community college system since 1949. As a professional educational organization, AFC promotes the growth and advancement of public community college education in Florida. This $150 education scholarship is being offered by the Career and Professional Employees Commission (CPEC) to assist CPEC members and their families pay costs not waived by their institutions.

Criteria:
1. Must be a CPEC employee or family member of a CPEC employee of one of the Great 28.
2. Must have attended a State College or University in the last fiscal school year and provide enrollment documentation of course(s) (paid receipt accepted).
3. Must complete the application below.
4. Email application and supporting documentation by October 5, 2018.

$500.000 – October 5 Deadline

The Communications and Marketing Commission has several different awards, but the main award is the Exemplary Practice/Overall Campaign.
Criteria:
One $500 award will be presented for the winning entry. (No FTE criteria.) The winner is required to make an exemplary practice presentation at the AFC Annual Convention. The separate entry form requires the college president's signature ensuring the winning college will be present to make its presentation.
