Green Dots for All at Indian River State College

IRSC has a group of certified Green Dot trainers who are available to give either a one-hour overview presentation or a three-hour bystander training for students. Uwill Mental Health and Wellness

IRSC is pleased to announce a partnership with Uwill, the leading student mental health and wellness solution. Uwill offers students free immediate access to teletherapy, a direct crisis connection, and wellness programming through its easy to use online platform.  

To schedule teletherapy, students can follow these easy steps: 

  • Create a profile with Uwill 
  • Choose a therapist based on their preferences including availability, issue, gender, language, ethnicity. 
  • Choose a time that fits their schedule with day, night and weekend availability. 

Uwill is Private. Secure. Confidential.

Uwill also offers students a direct crisis connection.  If a student is experiencing a mental health crisis, help is available 24/7/365. Call 833.646.1526 For a medical emergency, call 911. 

Students also have free access to on-demand wellness programming through Uwill’s easy-to-use online platform. Students can select wellness from the left navigation and enjoy a wide range of wellness options, such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and more! Uwill helps students discover greater focus and balance as they navigate the semester and works as a complement to therapy.

Sexual Assault Assistance Program

The Sexual Assault Assistance Program (SAAP) is the Certified Rape Crisis Program for Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee Counties. Their staff are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide crisis intervention, information and referrals, advocacy, and accompaniment for both reporting and non-reporting victims of sexual assault.  SAAP has offices in Fort Pierce, Stuart, Vero Beach, and Okeechobee. For more information on SAAP, visit www.sexualassaultassistanceprogram.org.
