FLA-Pass

The FLA-PASS program provides Florida's public high school students in accelerated educational tracks access to a subset of online resources used within Florida's State University College systems. Access to FLA-PASS requires that your high school administration has registered you so you can be provided a username and password. Information regarding registration, forms, and user guides can be found on the FLA-PASS LibGuide

ASC High School Tutoring

The Academic Support Center provides tutoring assistance both in person and online to students in area high schools Monday-Thursday, from 3 p.m. -7 p.m. Students must be currently enrolled in 9th – 12th grade, a recognized online program, or a comprehensive home education program. Library Collections

Middle and High School students have full access to check out items in the College's physical collection. High school students may receive their own library card if they are enrolled at a area high school. Middle school students may receive their own library card if accompanied by an adult. 

High school students enrolled in a area high school may use the library's computers for academic purposes. Middle school students may receive their own library card if accompanied by an adult.

Information Literacy Instruction

IRSC Libraries faculty are happy to host information literacy sessions for middle or high school students. These sessions help students understand how to find, evaluate, and integrate sources into their scholarly works and personal information needs. These sessions can be held at your institution, at any Indian River State College location, or virtually. Library Instructional Videos

In order to support teaching and learning in the online space, IRSC Librarians have created a slate of videos featuring some of our most popular instructional offerings. You are free to use these videos as part of your in-person or virtual course materials. These videos cover topics such as developing a research topic, citing appropriately, and paraphrasing. St. Lucie County Testing Resources

The St. Lucie County Library System subscribes to the Mometrix eLibrary which contains testing guides, flashcards, practice exams, and much more. Mometrix has resources for many high school and college entrance exams including AP subject tests, ACT/SAT, and the PERT. A St. Lucie County Library card is required to log into the Mometrix eLibrary.
