About Epicurus and Epictetus

Epicurus was a Greek philosopher who lived from 341 B.C. to 270 B.C. He is the inventor of the Epicrueanism school of philosophy.

Epictetus was a Greek-speaking philosopher who lived from 55 to 135. He was born in what is now Turkey as a slave. He believed the purpose of education was to improve one's moral character.
