[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] Derivative markets has gained important role in the economy in recent years. The derivatives market products are forwards, futures and options and it can be traced back to the willingness of risk adverse economic agents to guard themselves against uncertain events arising out of fluctuations in asset prices. Derivative are risk management instrument, which derive their value from underlying asset. The three broad categories of participants in the derivative market are Hedgers, Speculators and Arbitragers. The increasing investments in stocks domestic as well as overseas have attracted research interest in the area. Numerous studies on the effects of futures on the underlying cash market volatility have been done in the developed markets. The derivative market in India is newly making various benefits to the investors, so Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has to take steps to create awareness among the investors about the derivative segment. The study aims to analyse and interpret the performance of Reliance India Limited for the past seven years i.e. from 2014-15 to 2020-21. For the study stock chart and candlestick patterns are used to analyse. The study highlighted the reason for increase and decrease in the price value. The concluded observations are investing in various products by the company will protect the investors interest in unforeseen situation and through various operational planning the Reliance India Limited can yield highest profit ratio with low risk.

It facilitates to examine the implications of circular business models such as remanufacturing on operations management decisions. It also introduces them to the concept of total cost of ownership and impact of remanufacturing on reducing total cost of ownership. The cases help students to evaluate the challenges and opportunities of remanufacturing business in emerging economy like India. This case is among the first few cases on the application of circular economy principles in context of heavy-duty and off-road sector and the impact of these principles on product design and production planning and control decisions.

[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] In this study, we estimate a multi-country Threshold-Augmented Global Vector Autoregressive (TGVAR) model to analyze the response of real GDP of emerging economies (Brazil, India, China, and South Africa) with reference to selected advanced economies (US, UK, & Germany) to the COVID-19 shock. The result of the counterfactual analysis beyond the 2019Q4 indicates that the impact of COVID-19 shock on real GDP is pervasive and more prevalent in the developed than the emerging economies. Our model forecasts real GDP growth of emerging countries more precisely, but we attribute the shortfalls in the projections for advanced economies to the efficacy of fiscal and unconventional monetary policies to speed up the recovery in these countries.

[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] Given its long heritage in luxury, it is surprising that India does not dominate most of the world's luxury industries and brands. A majority of books written about luxury brands and India tend to focus on what cultural and other issues Western brands should be aware of before trying to penetrate this complex market. India is either seen as a potentially huge consumer market for European luxury goods or as a huge, low-cost factory in which to produce Western-branded luxury goods. The paper aims at understanding why Indian Luxury Experts--and even Master's Degree Students specializing in Luxury at a leading Business School in India and the UAE--believe India does not create its own global luxury brands. This paper considers their opinions from a 'French' perspective and attempts to offer insights and inspiration towards encouraging the emergence of a confident India that creates, not just 'makes', its own global, 'sustainable' and ethical luxury brands.
