MAC 1147: Precalculus/Trigonometry is a one-semester course combining Precalculus Algebra and Trigonometry. The topics covered are algebraic functions (polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and piecewise), their properties and graphs; polynomial and rational inequalities; conic sections; matrices and determinants; sequences and series; mathematical induction; binomial theorem; trigonometric functions, their properties and graphs; inverse trigonometric functions, their properties and graphs; trigonometric identities; trigonometric equations; solutions of triangles; vector algebra; parametric equations; polar coordinates; and their applications.
