Kendra Auberry

Faculty Librarian - Pruitt Campus, Port St. Lucie

I enjoy helping people discover the various resources, both personal and professional, available to them. I hold a BS from Purdue University and an MLS from Indiana University. I have worked in both public and academic settings providing reference assistance, teaching classes, and creating positive outcomes by collaborating with people of all backgrounds. As the IRSC STEM Librarian/Instructor, I am able to bring students and faculty into contact with the best science, technology, engineering, and math resources possible and support the curriculum of these disciplines with instructional sessions.

Faculty Librarian - Main Campus, Fort Pierce

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Boston University and my Master of Library Science from the University of South Florida. I have worked in libraries at Palm Beach State College and Florida Atlantic University. I enjoy reading books for all age groups, but I especially enjoy history books. My work entails buying materials for the library to support student learning; collection development is one of the most fun aspects of my job. I love to read book reviews and like selecting books and videos that help students learn. I also really enjoy teaching students, faculty, and staff about the research process. You can always ask me for help.

Faculty Librarian - Mueller Campus, Vero Beach

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida. I completed my Master of Library Science degree at Florida State University. Before moving back home to Vero Beach, I worked in public and academic libraries in the Tampa Bay area. My favorite part of being a librarian is teaching students and faculty how to use the many great resources we have at the IRSC Libraries.

I have a B.A. in Mass Communications (Public Relations) and a MLIS, both from the University of South Florida. My research areas include cultural studies, classical studies, digital libraries, and instruction, but I like to learn about anything I can. My duties at the main campus include reference tasks, collection development and looking for the best new ways to bring instruction to the virtual campus. I like to read and I love to help students find the information they need for their projects, so don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have!
