You will be researching and writing about Toni Morrison's novel Home. Because this novel was recently published, very little scholarly analysis has been devoted to it. Your thesis will be supported with secondary sources from various disciplines. Possible research topics may revolve around community, war, masculinty, medical abuse or other themes addressed in the novel.

Toni Morrison's Home

You are expected to obtain your own copy of the primary source Home, but the IRSC Libraries provide a number of articles and books that will help you argue your research paper's thesis  Books and articles about other books are called secondary sources, and many of them can be found in the Fort Pierce Campus Library’s collection. These books will help you better understand the novel you’re reading as well as provide criticism of the novel written by English literature scholars.
